"So I assume that she's after you." He turned to the pipe in his desk. " Scallahan, bring out the long arms, pull in the cannons, and make sure the crew doesn't stop rowing until that ship is out of sight. You, he pointed at David. will just have to come with us.....but don't worry we will be back....in a couple of months."he sat down turning to his book and began reading again.

David gave him an insolent look.
"I fired across the water. Jaklyn is not that bad of a pirate that she couldn't teach me the basics of shooting at sea."
The boy seemed unhappy to be seperated from Sarah, and a bit resentful that Nik had left Jaklyn lying in the streets.
However, he enjoyed being around Nik again, if only he weren't so angry.

" If ye truly want to get off this ship, then ye'd better change yer mind, theres no way you would make it to her ship, even if she started for ye. The Merinas currents are deadly with thousands of undercurrents and underwater ways. Only a Brig'O'War can cross these without gettin pulled along. Next time, do some studyin before ye sneak onto somebody's ship." he stepped back to his cabin, and lay on a bunk near his desk, he closed his eyes and went to sleep.

David muttered under his breath.
"Sarah isn't going to be mine. And you've never stayed awake at night, at Jaklyn's side, listening to her tales."

A dark haired pirate of about four feet four inches skulked up behind the boy extraordinarily quite for a man of his girth. He then stood next to David. "So....how'd dyou know teh Cap'n?" he asked in a very friendly tone while lighting a cigar that hung loosely from the left side of his mouth.

Got em offa the portmaster back in Elexa."he asked while offering him a fat cigar.
