The flame reappeared, grew bigger briefly. Then it twisted into a strange shape and went back to its origanal size.

David smiled happily, then went back to concentrating.
The flame twirled around in a ring shifting and changing constantly. Then it went back to normal.
"I can't hold it for very long."
He said apologeticly.

The flame pulsed briefly and a smile lit up Davids face. A mirror image of himself appeared in the flames, then winked out, replaced by the image of a creature, then it went back to twisting itself around.

He smiled.
"This is fun, but I have to watch what I'm thinking as I'm doing it."
He said, then the flame twisted into a giant creature, then shrunk to a mouse, then he made it dissapear.

The fire appeared again, twisting into something terrifing, something from the boys subconsious. He quickly made it go away, his eyes wide in fear.
