She shook her head.

Her hands seemed restless, bending the brim of her hat, brushing her hair out of her eyes, nervously.

She took a deep breath and pulled her hair up, and hid it under her hat. With a humourless, roguish smirk, she kissed him softly and prepared to return to her ship.

She whispered, then returned to her ship. One of her crewman, a tall, young man with black hair that hung down in her eyes, said something to her in a quiet tone and she shook her head, running towards the door of her cabin, tears in her eyes.
