Arthas walked slowly through Adrianna's domain. Muradin beside him, will all forty feet of him and his deathly ice scales bristling with uncertainty.
Muradin: "I don't like this Arthas, she could be setting a trap for us even now. Arthas: It's okay Muradin, she cannot harm us in this place....even if she does rule it. COME OUT....COME OUT....WHERE EVER YOU ARE...my dear Queen." he said this with a voice of ice and a frost coming from his mouth. Every part of the forest around Muradin and Arthas was freezing with each step they took.
Arthas: "I don't have time for your games, witch."

Adrianna appeared to come from nowhere. In her eyes was a cocky look, and in her step was a swagger.
"Yes, for why do you call my name?" Her voice was as cold as the earth around them, and her eyes flashed dark ice.

Arthas breathed slowly, shaking his head.
Muradin: "When is the boy due?"
Arthas: I tell you now Adri, I will take your child from you. You and that other halfer shall not bring something into this world that will destroy the riders. So...you have two options. Option one, when the child is born you hand him over to me..."
Muradin:"And option two, we kill you now and don't have to worry about your blight to all that is good in the world." finished Muradin with much humor and malice in his voice.

"No, you won't." There was a sudden harsh look in her eyes, and she almost growled in her anger. "What gives you the right to do this? And don't call me Adri."

Arthas: "WHAT GIVES ME THE RIGHT? Are you HONESTLY proposing this question to ME, the Prince of all Lorderon, and Teacher of the RIDERS? No, my little, QUEEN, I have every right to bring those who would be riders forth.
Muradin: "And that abomination that you and the Other Halfer created, or that you so Forced him to create is a candidate. And when you are in his presence you will offer Arthas the proper respect he deserves unlike you he did not trick his way to the throne. Arthas: "Muradin, you must remember that she is a Queen...in her own right. Please, Queen Adrianna, pardon me of my earlier.....demeanor. Sometimes my mind......isn't my own. But your....child....is going to be....an anomaly, he will not be a quarter dragon..he will be a halfer like you and his father however, he will be off two colors..." Muradin: "He will be a Chromatic Halfer, meaning he will be of a black and red hue. Unlike you he will not be entirely black, and unlike his father he will not be entirely red..." Arthas: "And I am the one who will train him and decide his fate, if you give him willingly you will be allowed to visit him...but...if not, then he will not live long enough to know who you are. Understand?"

"Train him to be what? To be like you." She laughed, her cold eyes still.

Arthas: "Like me? HA! Your child will be nothing like me if I can help it. And though you may laugh you still don't seem to understand your position. And that chilling look....is there no happiness in knowing that your child could someday bring about the return of the Dragon Riders? That he could become one of the most powerful beings in all Elexa? No, he would not be like me, but he would be of my legacy....and yours." he said while drawing Frostmourne from it's scabbard. "Give me one of your scales and perhaps I can prove that this is for Your benefit as well as mine." he held Frostmourne very lightly in his left hand, the tip of the blade seeming to have a mind of it's own.

The next phrase that slipped out of her mouth was quite out of character for her. "But is it for my child's benefit?'
Reluctantly, she gave him one of her scales and watched him warily. Like always, the word power intrigued her, especially connected to someone in her bloodline. However, there was something wierd happening to her emotions. She found the idea of using her child as a weapon or tool to be especially distateful.

Arthas grabbed the scale with care. The Scale started to float above his hand as he brought Frostmourne up, he moves the tip of the blade along the scale. The scale spun around and etched into it almost an inch deep was the word "yes". Arthas: "I am surprised by your distate and strange thought but, I do not mean to use him as a weapon or tool, I plan to use him to restore and maintain peace and justice in this land. And the answer to your question is yes, I can read your emotions and thoughts. Your son will be....Honored, valued, even humble. He will be a arbiter of the peace, of rights and justice to all the world, he will not be Evil, regardless of you or anyone else's influence. He will have the intelligence to make his own decisions and the strength to act upon them. A Warden of the Peace, an Arbiter. ONLY IF you give him willingly, this is because if you do not give him to me then one of your Half dragons will steal the last eggs and give one to him and he will become an instrument of your figurehead. If he is trained and respected properly, this will not happen." He swung Frostmourne barely hard enough to draw blood even from and child and it ripped through the scale as if it were paper. Muradin + Arthas: "What is your answer?"

She bowed her head toward him, hiding her sudden rush of emotion though she knew it was pointless. "Fine." She said in a low, dull whisper.

He walked to her slowly and then embraced her. "Thank you." he said in a voice just below a whisper, a sound no human should have been able to make. "You have no idea how gallant and good your actions are." he said in a language of truth, to make sure that she knew she had made the right choice. Muradin bowed to her, lifting the two shattered pieces of her scale with his mind and fused them together and replaced it. "Thank you."he and Arthas started to walk away, the ice melting from Muradin and the surrounding area.

She was icy and cold like a statue in his embrace. Her body was stiff and her face was blank. She heard his words, but they could not thaw the chill that shuddered down her spine. She nodded her head in good-bye as they turned off.

"By the way, I have a gift for you. Is there anywhere I could meet you where you would feel safe enough to bring it to you?"Arthas said while stopping and turning his head. "It's really quite extravagant and I would hate to waste it."

"We are safe enough here. None but the strongest would dare attack me in my own lands."

"Alright then." he said reaching into a pack that was strapped to Muradin. From the pack he pulled a slightly glowing emerald blade that was as long as his body and slightly curved. He hefted it as though it weighed nothing. "This is the Sword of Kas, he was a very powerful dragon. This blade was forged of his body...every piece of it. And I present it to you and I wish that you would use it. You do not have to and may destroy it or sell it or whatever you wish. This sword is almost as old as the mighty DeathWing and I do hope that you know of it's origin and if not...well...you'd better get studying."he said with a small grin. "Otherwise it might claim you. Please, do not feel as if I am an evil person, I know that this is hard to be asked of but, I only do this for the good of the land." he walked to her and kneeled holding the blade out to her.
