"Sides, Sarah won't be a pirate neither. She'll probably go off lookin fer buried treasure rather than steal it. Sides, thats never a bad thing.

"David and Sarah aren't close. She's my daughter, and ought not to hang too close to the crew."
Jaklyn growled in her low voice, forgetting that Sarah's father had been a crew man.
David winced at Jaklyn's harsh tone, and excused himself, wondering if he should tell Sarah of her mothers comments, or wait until Jaklyn sobered up to hear her view on the idea.

He grabbed the bottle and tossed it over the side of the ship, then he leaned in close. "There be no harm in it, there be nothing that will happen, specially with you so close. There be no harm in it. They will do nothing until they come of age, David knows better than that, He Knows he's playing with FIRE doesn't he." he aimed the question in the general direction of David. "Be worryin not Jaklyn, just let 'em be, they won't cause no harm, sides, ye can't be helpin take care o' all the childer we know now can ye?" he said very seriously

She cleared her throat, and took a long drink, relishing the burn of the rough liquour.
"David's not too well liked among my crew, and much as I try to stop it, I can't stop mens angry glares."

"Where do you keep those?" he asked taking the small jug and throwing it too over the side to join it's counterpart. "Why would they all be mad at me? I've done nothing wrong at all. They should not dislike David, he is good of heart and may bring great fortune to the lord of risk. You needn't stop their glares, David must. Call your best knife fighter to the middle of the ring in about four minutes."he called over to David. "BOY, we have work to do, follow me."he said seriously.

She snarled angerly.
"David, stay. You are my crew, not his."
She turned on him viciously.
"My drinking is no business of yours, and the men hate you because they think you've hurt me. Stupid bloody..."
Her voice trailed off into a quick line of curses.

I'm not starting a fight with your men, I'm solving a manner of honor, if they believe that he cannot bring anything to the crew then they will not enjoy him. David, come here, you are not of her crew you are an outcast and if you wish to stay on the Lord of Risk then you shall come HERE." He turned to her violently. "Yes, it is my business in the company of your equals you need have the DISCRETION to show the proper RESPECT. And what do your men know of anything, they see only that you are so full of pity for yourself that ye cannot be with anyone, their problem is that they see it in your favor. And if you wish to bring such Stupidity on you and your crew then fine." He pulled a silver amulet and threw it overboard, then walked quickly away, to the edge of the ship and leaped off disappearing into the mist.

"Go David."
Jaklyn hissed.
"Git off my ship, traitor."
She screamed into the night.
"Nik, how dare you say that I cannot be with anyone, you could not be with me you lying bastard pirate."
She fled angerly off her ship, heading towards town.
After she was off the ship, she slowed her pace, tears stinging her eyes.
David looked confused, and clutched Sarah close to his side. One of the men,Daemon, the one who loved Jaklyn like a sister and had been looking our for when she was 5 and had been taken, looked at him.
"It is more her anger with you, than our own. You've been a good man, and you'll suit Sarah fine. Wait 'till she cools off, please David. She needs this. She's hurting bad, and no saying who's fault it is. We all love her, and would follow her to the end of the earth, but she desires someone her equal, and few men are that. Nik is, but they cannot be, for reasons unknown. So she drowns her sorrows in the only way she knows. "

"Cap'n..? Oh, Cap'n!. We return with not just two but six crates of sky steel. HAHA...good haul boys." John yelled as the rest of the crew set about loading the ship.
"We leave at dawn." Nik said behind him coolly. "We sail for Lirn Ne Hadras....The Seas of Frozen Time. Where I shall stay with Ivorius, and you men may take a short term of leave. After a month or so we shall return to our pillage and plunder. Make sure the cannons are fully loaded and ready to fire. Also, hold no lights, and make sure the till stays silent, we shall not be seen." he worked his way to the dock. He started to wander to the Severed Skull Tavern. "I'll be back before we leave."

Jaklyn, unaware of much, wandered on, less the great pirate queen they all thought she was, an more the scorned woman she knew she was. She held her sword out, watching the moonlight glitter on the silver, and finally she sat down on a dock, near her path to the Severed Skull. She would head to the tavern, later prehaps, but for now, she had to be away from rowdy bar patrons.
