Pallas stood at the edge of the lake. Her black cloak blocked the cold breeze from her skin. She held up her arm. Kyndra gracefully landed on her arm. She climbed to her sholder and curled up around her neck. She looked at Kyndra and sighed. "Let us go then," She whispered. She started to walk away from the lake.

The queen of dragons, spotting a traveler in the woods, drifted into the clearing, landing delicatly, despite her great size.

Kyndra sat up, growled and hissed. She then dug her claws into Pallas' shoulder. Pallas glanced at Kyndra. The animal, though still ready to attack, calmed. Pallas looked to the great dragon.

Pallas stared at her. She then bowed her head in a silent greeting. Kyndra opened and then reclosed her wings, ajusting them slightly.

She would have grinned, but feared the show of her daggerlike teeth would have frightened them farther.
"Interesting creature."
She motioned to Kyndra.

Kyndra jumped down to the ground. She circled her master's feet. Pallas looked down at the animal. "Hm." Was all she said. She then looked up at the dragon. "You are?"

She scoffed at mortal ignorance.
"I am Ember, the queen of dragons."

"Dragons, eh. How improper of me." She said in a nutral tone, with a small hit of sarcasum. She did a graceful bow.

She laughed.
"Finally."
She twisted her long neck around.
"A human who doesn't cower."

Pallas didn't reply. Kyndra, flicked her tail and hissed at a passing butterfly. It landed on her nose. She batted at it and it took off. Kyndra followed it. The butterfly landed on a flower, Kyndra chrouched and snuck up behind it. Just as she was about to pounce on it, the butterfly grew bigger. It wings melted into grotesque pattern. The butterfly's wings flapped and created a hiss like noise. Kyndra, competely confused, retreated. The butterfly went back to it's smaller form and took off.

"The name is Pallas Palacio. This is my pet, Kyndra." Pallas bowed her head and then looked back up to the dragon.
