he said in the same quiet tone. Jaklyn's fist connected with his jaw.
"Git back there, with the rest of the crew. I'll decide youre punishmentlater."
She commanded in an angry tone.
"Anyone else who has a problem step forward. NOW! I will not see him be attackedby one of you without the guts to speak out."
No one stepped fromthe group.
