The smallish egg quivered, slightly, but there was movement. "Come on boy, theres no time to lose pick it up." he stated with hope returning to his face.

As he held the egg it immediately began to wiggle and crack. "ErkZhan, this is amazing......I never guessed it would have been you to get this egg....but, I am thoroughly pleased. Stay with the egg all the time while it hatches but, do not help the youngling hatch..."he warned his voice filled with joy. "Please, stay here, Ember, is there any place we may speak where we will not be heard?"he asked quickly

ErkZhan stared at the egg both confused and amazed at the same time. he nodded a bit when he heard not to help the dragon hatch

Ember nodded, and smiled quickly at the boy, her stiff demeanor dropping.
"Congratulations, boy."
Then she turned again and smiled.
"Follow me."
She led the way to a small hidden chamber.

He shut the door behind them. "This is AMAZING, a new Rider, oh I love it.....I'm sorry to let my excitement boil over but I haven't been this happy in almost two hundred years. I'm sorry but, I must ask another favor. Can you help me teach the boy? He is going to need to know everything about Dragon history, clans, history, and everything that a human can know about Dragons. I would be honored if you would help me in this endeavor.....I have been isolated for sometime and cannot remember much." he looked straight into Ember's eyes, his own very happy and his face beamed.

Ember smiled at his happiness, his excitement. Her own crystalline eyes were bright and shining.
"I am happy as well, I will try my best. But as for dealing with the actual hatchling, he will need your help. I...I have never dealt with young hatchlings."

"Well, it has been a long time for me as well, but the hatchling will grow quickly. Very quickly. It is of the green dragon flight, meaning it will be quite good in magic. I am glad this dragon chose ErkZhan." He walked from the chamber kneeling next to ErkZhan. "You are a Rider now. Your training begins when He has grown. But, for now you must name him."he was filled with excitement and happiness.
